Crioula jewelry is a set of traditional jewelry worn by Black women in colonial and imperial Brazil, especially in Bahia, as a symbol of identity, status, and cultural resistance.

Usually made of gold and in large quantities (earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings), they were imposing pieces that expressed economic power and also spirituality, as many were connected to Afro-Brazilian traditions. Today, they are considered cultural heritage and an aesthetic reference to Afro-descendant heritage.
